Dear Pathways:
I am constantly amazed at all that gifts God has given to us. I want to share with you the plan for what lies ahead. My hope is that after reading this letter and the fact sheet contained you will feel informed and eager to grow with us this year.
Last year thanks to God’s provision, the blessing of the City and the generosity of people at Pathways we were able to purchase the Temple Events Center. This has provided a sacred space for us to reach out to spiritual explorers, serve the disadvantaged, and create art that reflects God’s grace in our world. In a short amount of time our ministry in the center of the city has grown significantly. To the south, our Wash Park congregation continues to expand as more people bring friends and family to our worship services. All of this is consonant with our vision to see our city reflect God’s redemption.
Pathways will need to raise funds beyond our current revenue, to continue to carry out our vision. This fall we launched The Restoration Campaign, a fundraising effort to see people restored to God and wholeness.
With this letter is a special web sub-site detailing the desired outcomes of The Restoration Campaign along with a brief outline detailing how the campaign will unfold. This information is meant to be a starting point in answering your questions. More information will follow. In addition to more written material, we will be inviting you to attend information events so that we can exchange ideas and respond to your questions.
This campaign is not about buildings. It is about a journey of restoring people to God and personal wholeness. In weeks to come we will be asking everyone in our church to prayerfully consider making a generous commitment to our vision that is over and above our ongoing offerings. Please begin to pray now that this campaign will glorify God and restore many to Him.
