What's the difference between the Pathways sites?
A significant part of our strategy at Pathways for seeing our city reflect the redemption of God is to be one church in many neighborhoods. We want to have the quality and resources for ministry and spiritual growth that are found in large churches while having the intimacy and neighborhood feel of a small church. As Pathways grows we will have one elder board, one teaching team, a regional staff that will work with all of our neighborhood churches and local staffs and volunteer teams that focus on ministering to specific neighborhoods.
This is a major focus of our church, but we also know that it will take all kinds of churches to minister all kinds of people and so we have and will help start churches that are not a part of the Pathways community while expanding the number of Pathways locations we have over time.

How do I choose a site?
We realize that everyone will place a higher value on different aspects of this decision, but here are some things we would like you to consider when making the decision:
- Consider which neighborhood site is closest to you. Approximately half of our attenders live north of Speer Blvd., and half live south. If you live north of Speer, consider attending Pathways Uptown. If you live south of Speer, consider attending Pathways Wash Park.
- Consider where your small group and/or friends will attend. Friendships are a vital part of the life of Pathways. We encourage small groups not only to attend the same neighborhood site, but the same worship congregation as well. The more natural points of connection a group has throughout the week, the stronger those relationships will be.
Attending the same service offers the chance for friends and small group members to worship together and further develop their relationships with one another.
- Consider your passion. Do you have a specific desire to see the Wash Park area reflect the redemption of God? Or do you have a dedicated interest to the Uptown area, and those that live there?
- Consider the opportunity for missional living. The definition of a missionary is one who is willing to be displaced on behalf of another. Perhaps God is calling you to live missionally right here in Denver by attending a worship congregation that might not be the most convenient, but is one God is drawing you toward. Perhaps He is asking you to serve the city in a specific neighborhood site.
- Consider serving where there is the greatest need for your gifts, talents, and/or experience.
