ROOTS (PK Programming)
Parents, kids grades kindergarten through 5th will have the opportunity to participate in mid week programming we call Roots. This will be a weekly commitment that runs throughout the school year. Join us for a time of extended children’s programming that includes worship, games and small group sessions geared for your child to dig deeper and get rooted in who they are in Christ.
Roots will take place every Wednesday, from 6:30PM - 7:45PM in the Elementary Lower Level space.

PARENTS!
Community is important not just for your kids, but for you as well! That is why we offer a parent’s Small Group on Wednesday evenings while your kids are gathering for Roots and Pathways Students. After you drop off your kiddo(s), come hangout in the Family Room from 6:30-7:45PM – it is a convenient way to connect with other parents without adding to your busy schedule. No registration necessary – just show up when you can!

Is it time for you to proclaim publicly your faith in Christ by being baptized? Baptism does not save, but it is an act of obedience for all believers*. Let everyone know that you are a new creation and register below for our next baptism!
*While we believe that children can have a sincere faith in Jesus, we have found the best practice is to wait until a child is at least eight years old before the child takes the step of baptism. If your child is under the age of eight and has expressed interest in baptism, we recommend that you use the time to strengthen his or her faith in other ways. If you do not have a RightNow Media account, it is an excellent resource for you to use to help lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Women’s Connection Night
No matter what season of life you are in, we want to create a space where you feel seen and valued! Please join us for a night of connection at il Bar in Kimberly, it will be a time for community, great conversation, and lasting memories. This connection night will be recurring the last Monday of the month so mark your calendar!

Middle School Preview Night
PS Middle School will be hosting two preview nights for current 5th graders on May 1st and May 8th. This is a great opportunity to see what middle school ministry is all about as we look forward to the next school year.
5th graders involved in ROOTS will start the evening as normal. Leaders will bring them over to PS Middle School for a time of worship and teaching. They will then have their own unique small group time afterwards. Pick up afterwards will work the same as usual.

Second Saturday- Giving Garden
Pathways Church has a garden on our property that serves the Fox Valley by donating all produce to the local Freedom Food Pantry. On this Second Saturday we are in need of volunteers to prepare the garden for the growing season. If you have a green thumb or even if you don’t please join us for a morning in our Giving Garden!

Baby Dedication
A child is a God-given trust (Psalm 127:3) and Baby Dedication is a ceremony that signifies a parent’s commitment and pledge to uphold that trust by raising their child in a Christian home and church where he or she can come to know, love and serve Jesus. It also signifies a commitment by the people of Pathways Church to provide a loving, biblical community that supports and prays for your family.
If you have trusted in Christ as your Savior and want to make a public declaration that you will do your best to raise your child according to God’s Word (Deut 6:5-8), you are invited to participate in our Baby Dedication Celebration.
We will be hosting Baby Dedications at both our 8:30AM & 10AM services. Registration will close at the end of the day on Sunday, May 5.
Military Support Collection Drive

Join us as we partner with the Military Support Foundation Inc. in supporting our deployed troops & their families. We can show appreciation for their dedication and service to our country by helping collect items needed in order to send them care packages! High School Preview Night
As adults, we have all experienced the nerves of moving from our elementary school routine to middle school but we also experienced the excitement of something new! We invite all current 8th graders to join us on Sunday, May 19 for our Pathways Students Preview night from 6:30 - 8PM. This will be a fun night for all 8th graders to learn the fun and exciting nature of Pathways Students, and learn about all upcoming events they can be part of!
Women’s Connection Night
In May, our Connection Night will be moving to a NEW location - The Van Zeeland Nursery! In addition to our time of gathering for connection, we have partnered with Branching Out & Co for an optional bouquet-making activity. Registration is NOT required to attend the Connections Night but is required to participate in the bouquet-making class.
To participate in the bouquet-making class, the cost is $40 and the start time is 6:30PM. The class is limited to 30 and you must be 18 to participate. Pre-register for the class is required and you can register by clicking the link below.
If you will NOT be signing up for the class portion of the evening, there is no pre-registration required and the arrival time is 7PM.

High School Summer Camp
Our high schoolers are heading to Spencer Lake July 15-19! This is a great opportunity to grow spiritually, build friendships, make memories and have fun!
The cost of camp is $255 for the whole week. The deadline to register and secure this price is June 15th. Spots are limited, so register early!
Adventure Camp!
Join us for year two of Adventure Camp, July 22 - 26!
This week-long morning camp will teach 5-11-year-olds to get "Ready for Battle"! Kids will go on a journey as they dig deep into the Bible and find out what it means to put on the armor of God.
We anticipate this to be a well-attended event so we need your help! We need team leads and team members to make this dream a reality! From wacky games to craft stations, large group stage, small group time, and snacks we want you as a part of the team!
Middle School Summer Camp

Middle School Boys’ Game Night
Who's ready to play some games that are too big, too intense and too competitive for a normal Wednesday night?!? All current 6th-8th grade boys are invited to a night of fun and healthy competition. This is a great opportunity to invite friends! This event will involve both indoor and outdoor games, so please wear tennis shoes. We will also have pizza available. PK Let's Glow Crazy
Join us as we GLOW CRAZY on Sunday, April 7, during both the 8:30AM & 10AM service in Pathways Kids. Let’s Glow Crazy is happening for preschool and elementary students! We encourage them to invite their friends, dress in white or neon, and come for an exciting morning filled with learning about God, singing, dancing, skits and more, all while glowing bright under black lights!
Everyone in attendance will receive a special light up party gift and will make memories that will last a lifetime. Your kids won’t want to miss this exciting weekend at Pathways Church!

Easter Sunday
When Jesus Christ was crucified some 2000 years ago, there were only about 120 followers. Today, there are more than 2 billion people in the world who claim to be followers of Jesus. Why did Christianity spread so far and so fast? How did that happen? One of the reasons is that people found hope! Hope in a resurrected savior…
Good Friday
We will be hosting a 6PM service online and in person for Good Friday. During our time together we will remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. The sacrifice that forever allowed us the hope of eternity.
It will be a beautiful night of worship, a time for us all to join together in communion and hear a message from Pastor Adam. We will see you there, don’t forget to invite a friend!

Vida Collection Drive
We are proud to stand beside a local outreach like Vida Clinic. We will be hosting a collection drive for several items that Vida Clinic is in need of on Sunday, March 17 & 24, all items collected go straight to Vida to help stock their shelves full and provide support to men and women who need to feel supported while raising children and/or expecting their first child.
Items Needed: Drop all items off at the table in the church lobby or church office building (Mon-Thur | 8AM-4PM)

Our local partner, Vida, passionately advocates for good health and well-being of women and their babies. Vida’s main objective is to walk with women through trials and tribulations by offering hope and compassion. Vida continue to expand and improve our services so that no man or woman feels alone and unsupported when facing challenges related to an unplanned pregnancy or parenting an infant or small children under challenging circumstances.

Men's Bowling Night
Mark your calendars for Friday, March 8 from 6-8:30 PM, and come out for an evening to the Tenth Frame for food, fun, and connection! The cost is $20 and includes a buffet, two games of bowling, and shoe rental.
Church Meeting
Please join Pastor Adam and the Elder Board for a short Family Meeting to present an update on the Church. All are encouraged to attend.
The meeting will be on Sunday, March 3rd, and will be conducted after each service. Due to time constraints, we will not be taking questions during the meeting. However, if you have a question, please email it to elderboard@pathways.us and we will address it as quickly as we can.
Compassion Sunday

Women's IF:Gathering 2024

What is GroupLink?
At Pathways Church, we believe that life is better connected by being part of a Small Group. If you have not found community yet at Pathways, join us for 30 minutes after each service on Sunday, February 11, in room 206 to learn what a Small Group is, how being part of one will help you grow in faith, and what you need to do to step out of the Sunday morning row and into the circle of a Small Group.

On February 10, volunteers will be serving at Feeding America packing meals. Feeding America supports local food pantries right here in our community ensuring our neighbors in need have access to healthy food.

Night to Shine
Alliance Church is hosting Night to Shine sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and they’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen! Join us on Friday, February 9, 2024, for a prom night that you will not forget! Walk the red carpet, enjoy the royal treatment, and dance the night away.

Kids Night Out!
Parents…do you need a Valentine's date night? Some time alone? A night out with friends? Whatever you need, bring your child, ages 3 through grade 5, to Kid’s Night Out at Pathways Church on Friday, February 9, from 5:30-7:30PM.
This is a FREE event and includes dinner, cookie decorating, crafts, and games! Your kiddos won’t want to miss it!
Registration is required and closes at midnight on Monday, February 5.
Pathways Students | Winter Retreat
Pathways Students' 2024 Winter Retreat will be taking place on February 9-11th! This event is open to all current 6th-12th graders. We will depart from Pathways at 3PM on Friday, and we will return Sunday evening around 4PM. This weekend experience will feature engaging sessions and a variety of games and activities. This is a great time for students to get plugged in and form friendships. This year, our theme is "Sorry, Not Sorry: Speaking Into Culture With Grace and Truth." We will explore how students can navigate difficult conversations with their peers, and offer the hope of Jesus to the world around them.

Small Group
If you are looking to grow in your faith while fostering relationships, this five-week Small Group is for you!
During the first session, we will take the time to get to know one another, and then weeks two through five, we will be going through the Derwin Gray RightNow Media study called "Holy Habits."

Military Family Gathering
On Sunday, February 4, military families are invited to stop by Room 206 from 9:30 - 10:30AM for coffee and conversation with others who have served. Because serving in the military is so much more than a job, we want to provide an opportunity for you to connect with others whom you may have never met, but already have a connection with because of your service to our country.

You're Snow Special!
You're Snow Special!
You are invited to join Pathways Kids on Sunday, February 4 at 8:30 or 10AM. Preschool and elementary kids will learn that they are uniquely created. We'll have snowflake-themed crafts and activities centered around the idea that each child is special, beautifully and wonderfully made by God. We'll end our time with an epic snowball fight. (If there is snow ELEMENTARY ONLY will go outside for the snowball fight).
